Storm Queen: “Look Right Through” [Aeroplane Remix]
Storm Queen’s, aka Morgan Geist, debut massive tune “Look Right Through”, our favorite track of 2010, just re-released with remixes by the likes of Aeroplane, Dimitri from Paris and Jamie Jones. Aeroplane’s Vito De Luca can do no wrong. He delivers a brilliant take of the track and is already favorite without a test drive. Montevideo are back! After releasing their great debut EP “Tribal Dance” on Headman’s Relish imprint last year, the Brussels-based band, fronted by the always awesome singer Jean Waterlot, will release their brand new jam “Horses” on February 13th on the newly label Smile Recordings. It sounds so damn good. “Horses” was recorded in the anticipated DFA studios in New York and is the first taste from their upcoming album, which is expected to be released later this year. Montevideo is currently recording their album in Paris with no other than Joakim. Check out the radio edit of “Horses” above and preview Mickey’s rework of the track here. Ride and enjoy.

Phèdre: “In Decay” [mp3]
Phèdre are “three lovers from Monaco, raised in a cave of gold”. The band, which features members of Hooded Fang’s Daniel Lee and April Aliermo, along with Airick Woodhead of Doldrums, just dropped the fantastic track “In Decay”, the first cut from their upcoming album. Phèdre, inspired by Greek mythology, will release their self-titled debut album digitally on February 14th via Toronto’s Daps Records. Also, you can watch the NSFW video below.
