Gerd Janson and Jacques Renault:
“Just Wanna Pry”

Running Back head honcho delivers the goods

Running Back head honcho and Tuff City Kids member Gerd Janson lands on Let’s Play House with a killer EP, entitled “Gerd Janson’s Jacque’d Toolbox”, one of our favorite records we’ve heard in a while. Following the release of Let’s Play House’s first “BK Club Beats” remix EP, this new five-tracker is a Gerd Janson solo affair, an assortment of tracks that reinterpret and reimagine the fundamental component of Jacques Renault’s 2018’s superb second album “BK Club Beats, Breaks & Versions”. It’s called “Gerd Janson’s Jacque’d Toolbox” for a reason. We’ll let you use your imagination and figure out what it is. Little bit of something for everyone here, though—disco, house, dirty beats.

We are psyched to premiere the track “Just Wanna Pry”, which kicks off the record’s A-side. On the six-minute “Just Wanna Pry”, Gerd Janson lends his magic hands to Jacques Renault’s “Just Wanna Play” and delivers a sublime slice of disco heat with plenty of grooves to keep you moving all night long and infectious, filtered vocal hooks. An excellent groove-filled disco stomper. Play it loud exclusively on LAGASTA

The “Gerd Janson’s Jacque’d Toolbox” EP drops on September 4 on Let’s Play House white label series. Pre-order your copy here.
