Miami Horror: “Leila”

It’s been a while since we last heard from Melbourne electro-pop band Miami Horror, but now they’re back with a new EP, entitled “The Shapes”, a “conceptual project inspired by the early ’80s”. Set to drop on Match 17th, the five-track record combines upbeat percussive grooves, with experimental vocal styles that echo Talking Heads and other post-new wave groups of the ’80s. Our first taste from the forthcoming release comes in the form of “Leila”, a superb funky tune for your next car rides.
