Norwegian space-disco producers Lindstrøm and Todd Terje have teamed up once again for a brand new track, called “Lanzarote”, an infectious eight-minute disco tune. Once more during this year we have been sharing with you tons of free music, and today we’re really excited to reveal La.Ga.Sta.’s Top 40 most downloaded tracks of 2012. This is a chart compiled by our readers, who by the way have great taste. We couldn’t agree more. Breakbot’s “Programme” is top of the list, followed closely by Perseus’ “Seychelles” and Chromatics’ “Kill For Love”. Of course there is more to this list. Who can drive passed beloved artists such as Todd Terje, John Talabot, Poolside, The Magician, Classixx, Moon Boots, among others, or tracks like Slow Hands’ cover of Bon Iver’s “Towers” and Pional’s remix of The Rapture’s “In The Grace Of Your Love”.

We’ve already featured Norwegian space disco pioneer Todd Terje’s cosmic extended edit of fellow producer Lindstrøm’s latest track “Ęg-gęd-ōsis”, and today we’re treated to this tasty remix of the track by Brooklyn’s Lemonade. It’s yours for free. The original track will appear on Lindstrøm’s upcomimg fourth solo album, “Smalhans”, his second LP to come out in 2012, and marks his return on the dancefloor with six epic tracks. The album was mixed by Todd Terje, who has also made extended edits of each track which will be released as 12”s. Out on November 5th via Smalltown Supersound.

We honestly don’t know how he does it, but Norwegian disco king Todd Terje always finds a way to blow us away. His brand new rework of Hot Chip’s latest single “How Do You Do?”, off their album “In Our Heads”, is absolutely delicious. Nine minutes of pure disco goodness. Give it a spin above. The 12” features also fine remixes by the likes of Ossie, Micky Moonlight, James Zabiela and Hot Chip and the 2 Bears’ Joe Goddard. Out on September 10th via Domino Records. Swedish producer Aksel Friberg teamed up with singer Kiki Halmos for an electro-disco-pop jam, called “To Be There With You”, which was originally released on Drifter Sthlm Musik label in 2010. It was few months ago when Gerd Janson discovered this song and decided to re-release it on his Running Back label. For this release (Todd) Terje Olsen from another Viking country, adds his golden touch and brings us two great extended disco edits of “To Be There With You” and “Viking Line”. Here’s his disco mix of the title track for your listening pleasure. We can’t get enough of it!

Norwegian space-disco producer Todd Terje strikes again with not one, but two cosmic extended edits of fellow producer Lindstrøm’s new tracks “Rà-àkõ-st” and “Ęg-gęd-ōsis”. Both tracks sounds great.
