French electro maverick and Partyfine label founder Yuksek is next in line to contribute a mix to La.Ga.Sta’s ongoing series of mixtapes based on our co-drivers favourite year in music. Our beloved producer “drives through” his favourite year, 1977, and delivers an excellent 73-minute mixtape full of great disco tunes. WHAT a ride!

In his own words: “Here’s my 1977 disco selection, with a few hits and other tracks that you may discover. Keywords are “Love”, “Together”, “Dance”, 70’s are definitely an other era. There is a fine line between kitsch and vintage, and I think that’s what my selection is about, my deep respect for that music and that period of time. PS: I edited most of the tracks cause, with all my respect, brass and violins solos can be boring sometimes.”
