Tunnelvisions: “End Of Time”

Tunnelvisions: “End Of Time”

Dutch duo return to their home label Atomnation with a great new EP.

“‘End of Time’ is the end of an era and the start of a new beginning…”

With an unmistakable ear for imaginative melodic themes and entrancing rhythms, Dutch duo Tunnelvisions hits the sweet spot by seamlessly fusing worldly influences with analog synthesizers. Following the release of their “Gold Teeth” EP on Moscoman’s “Disco Halal”, the prolific duo of Emiel van den Dungen and Raynor de Groot have returned to their home label  Atomnation for their fourth release in the last three years. Entitled “End Of Time”, this new six-tracker excursion builds on the pair’s warm, richly melodic and always hypnotic style with fantastically colourful results.

“These six tracks are a summary of our 5 year search for musical grounds together in the studio and marks a highlight for us. ‘End of Time’ is the end of an era and the start of a new beginning. On to great things, new explorations, fresh music and fun times”, says Tunnelvisions. With the “End Of Time” EP, the pair deliver yet another masterfully cohesive collection of colourful dancefloor cuts that take in pop, techno and synth music.

One of our favourite cut from the record is the title track and closer “End Of Time”. Clocking it at nearly six minutes, the synth-driven track is filled with delicate pop sensibilities and catchy riffs. They dart about the mix as smeared pads and crunchy, punchy drums encourage you to cut loose. Blast it below.

The “End Of Time” EP is out now via Atomnation.
