Cantor: “Hannet’s Dream (Modular Project Isolation Rework)”

Italian duo crafts a killer “Isolation” version that’s suitable
for peak times on the dance floor.

Good times! For its tenth release, Italian Nothing Is Real imprint welcomes the California based producer and DJ Cantor with his debut for the label, an introspective and contaminated production, entitled “Hannet’s Dream”. With a handful of fine releases on labels such as Correspondant, Motordiscs and Trafico under his belt, Cantor continues to craft quality tunes while exploring the sounds of Italo disco, Detroit techno, punk and new wave.

With “Hannet’s Dream”, Cantor has created something special, a powerful tune full of darkness, isolation and sparkling romance. And you can quite easily spot the cleverly used samples from Joy Divison and Human League’s classics. And if that’s not enough, the track comes backed with a rework by label founders Modular Project, the eclectic Italian duo of Alberto Iovine and Alessandro Fumagalli, which we’re excited to premiere here at LAGASTA.

On their rework of “Hannet’s Dream”, Modular Project infuses the original track with an extra dose of energy, delivering a killer “Isolation” version that’s suitable for peak times on the dance floor. Play it loud, exclusively on LAGASTA. The “Hannet’s Dream” EP drops on April 30th via Nothing Is Real.
