After dropping the addictive electro-house single “Controller”, featuring The Horrors’ Faris Badwan, Andy Butler’s New York disco-house collective Hercules & Love Affair are back with their new single from their upcoming fourth studio album “Omnion”. The album’s title track finds Hercules & Love Affair joined forces with Sharon Van Etten to deliver a triumphant sliver of tuneful electronica.
The new 11-track album, which follows 2014’s “The Feast of the Broken Heart”, is about “a queering of faith, creating room for the questioning “others” in a perfectly imperfect temple,” says Andy Butler. The album also features a list of guest appearances including Gustaph, Rouge Mary, Mashrou’ Leila, and Sisy Ey.
The album “Omnion” arrives on September 1 via Beat Big Records.
