The Supermen Lovers: “Beats Of Love” (Altered Version)

French producer Guillaume Atlan, aka The Supermen Lovers, will return later this month with a new remix album called “Alterations”. The 14-track album will collect his best remixes of the last two years, including his reworks for Donny Hathaway, New Order, S Express, Jupiter, Count Jackula, and more. The record also includes a superb “Altered Version” of Nacht Und Nebel’s 1983 hit single “Beats Of Love”, featuring lead vocals by Guillaume Atlan himself and Natty Fensie, which you can grab for free below. The Supermen Lovers’ “Alterations” will drop on November 17th via Latebwa/Word Up Records. You can preview the whole thing here.

Jupiter: “Elliot Uppercut (Mr. Gonzo Remix)”

Jupiter, the Parisian electro disco duo of Amélie and Quarles, dropped today a superb remix compilation. Simply titled “Juicy Remixes”, the album collects 15 reworks of tracks from their 2012 debut album “Juicy Lucy”, which featured “Saké” and “One O Six” among its highlights. Featuring remixes by the likes of Little Boots, Para One & Tacteel, JBAG, The Supermen Lovers, Yan Wagner, Juveniles, and Marius among others, “Juicy Remixes” aims directly for the dancefloor.

The Supermen Lovers: “Foundation Disco” EP

Back to the basic with the new The Supermen Lovers five track EP “Foundation Disco”. The release features two original tracks: “Keep The Funk Alive”, a synth-driven retro-futuriste gem with former Chic singer Norma Jean Wright on vocals and the jam “Eagle Shadow”. It also includes three remixes from In Flagranti, Cityzen (from The Aikiu crew), and Chloé. Great stuff. Funk is not dead.

Count Jackula: “Breakfast”

La Belle is a new french label owned and managed by 3 friends. One of them is better known as Golden Bug, another’s half of Herr Styler, and the other one’s half of La Tebwa Records. After release the Soap Opera EP by Golden Bug and Mustang, La Belle is ready to serve a tropical breakfast. On July 4th, the label will release the new four track EP “Breakfast” by Count Jackula, the alter ego of our favorite Portuguese producer Moullinex.
