“Enosi” (=Unity) is K.BHTA’s (former member of duo Stereo Nova and one of the most important musicians in the Greek electronic scene) sixth personal album. It contains 14 brand-new songs that were composed between 2007 and 2009 and talk about all those things that unite and separate us. “The title was born quite accidentally one afternoon, as I was travelling by train. The word “enosi” occurred to me as I was watching the people around me dipped in their thoughts, talking to each other, dosing or looking out the window: they all seem disconnected to each other and yet they all looked alike in a strange way”, explains K.BHTA. The tracks have an unmistakable urban musical style together with touches of folk, hip-hop, electronic, and acoustic music. In the track titled “To Domatio” (The Room) Vassilikos, a member of the Greece-based Raining Pleasure music group, is performing in a unique way one of the most beautiful K.BHTA’s songs for piano and string quartet. “Enosi” is an album featuring intense sociopolitical lyrics combining K.BHTA’s very personal poetry and his own distinctive way of looking at life around him. His latest album takes the listener away to a travel through the magic of inner landscapes. “Enosi” was recorded in 2009, upon music and lyrics by K.BHTA, while the mastering took place at Gateway Studios in Portland, Maine, by the ingenious artist and Grammy-winner Adam Ayan.

“Κοιτάζω γύρω όλα αυτά που έκανα, όλα αυτά που με οδήγησαν στην αποξένωση, τα χιλιάδες λάθη, τον αλληλοσκοτωμό, τα πρόσωπα που ενδύθηκα, αυτά που δεν ήμουν ποτέ, την εξουσία που άσκησα για να κερδίσω συναισθήματα, τον πόνο που ήρθε, τον εγωισμό που έγινε κήπος μέσα μου, όλα αυτά είναι τα παιδιά μου τώρα, μέσα μου, κι όλα πεινάνε για ύλη, βία, διαχωρισμό, πόλεμο, είναι αδέλφια και όμως δεν αγαπά κανένα το άλλο, είναι ίσοι και πιστεύουν πως τους χωρίζουν πολλά, εξαγοράζονται μεταξύ τους, ξεχωρίζουν, δεν μπορούν να ενώσουν τίποτε, όλα αυτά είναι η ψυχή μου, όλα αυτά είναι ο κόσμος, άνθρωποι που περιμένουν να συναρμολογηθούν από κάποιον τυχαίο, να αγαπηθούν από την ύλη. Δεν υπάρχει λοιπόν τύχη, κι η αλήθεια επειδή περιείχε την αγάπη νίκησε το ψέμα, ένωσε και μετουσίωσε τα πάντα μέσα στο φως της, τώρα δεν υπάρχει τίποτε λιγότερο και τίποτε περισσότερο απ’ αυτό”.
