Headman’s new single “Be Loved” is finally here. It’s a brilliant track made to be loved. This track steps a “fine line between electro, synth pop and the electro/acoustic dualism of Wide Boy Awake” and features the vocals of Rosie Blair, known to some as vocalist for Moon Unit, and one half of the duo Boy of Girl with Paul Mogg. The single, backed with two great remixes by Daniel Avery (aka Stopmakingme) and Andrea Esu, is out today exclusively on Beatport. We’re big fans of Headman’s Relish Recordings, so we’re really excited about the label’s new compilation. “Relish 3″ has been constructed out of new tracks very much in the guise of an album and it highlights the label’s new artists that have been unearthed this year: JR Seaton, Andreas Esu, Hannalelauri, Daniel Avery (Stopmakingme), International, and Montevideo. This great 11-track compilation is finally out and it also contains Headman’s new single “Be Loved”. State of Art x Headman

Relish Recordings continues its pattern of reissues focused on bringing lost tracks from influential acts to a contemporary audience. This time Relish boss Headman is re-releasing the track “Venice” by State of Art, one of the few new wave bands to emerge from Italy. Formed in June 1981 by singer Federico Di Bonaventura, bass player Stefano Tirone and guitarist Stefano Mazzola in Milan, State of Art worked together for almost two years before Federico split to pursue a career as Fred Ventura. The new release features the original 1982 recording, Headman’s disco house dancefloor rework and JR Seaton’s nine-minute remake of the track. You can download Headman’s dub version of “Venice” below.

Jeremy Glenn gave us a new life this summer with one of the finest tracks we’ve heard this year. This remix by rising DJ/Producer Perseus takes us back to the summery nights of ’83. This is like deja vu all over again.

02. Lazydisco – More Tigers (MODE Remix)
From Lazydisco’s amazing latest EP “More Tigers” on Discotexas (still on repeat) here comes MODE’s take on the track, to make us dive into the nearest pool. Bloom!

03. Mitzi – Morning Light (Softwar Remix)

Meet International: A new combo borne from the skies somewhere south of the Alps. Comprised of Robi Insinna, aka Headman and Stefano, who had supported Hercules and Love Affair, International dropped today their first release “River Saine”, an Ibiza meets Manchester piano driven cut, on Relish Recordings. Just perfect. The “River Saine” EP comes with remixes by Kim Ann Foxman of Hercules and Love Affair fame and Newcastle band The Porters. The Swiss: “Double or Nothing” Video

The Swiss are back with their first release since 2010′s disco anthem “Bubble Bath” and its accompanying EP. Their new single “Double or Nothing / Womanthem” will be released on September 23 on Modular with remixes by Louis La Roche, Headman and Renaissance Man. “Double Or Nothing”, which was written in a hotel room straight after Tony Mitolo played Glastonbury this year as part of Empire Of The Sun, is the first taste of what’s to come from the group. Watch the new video below, directed by SPR/PPL.
