If you’re looking for a perfect summer jam, look no further. Our favorite Los Angeles-based duo Classixx, Michael David and Tyler Blake, have just shared their brand new single “All You’re Waiting For”, a glorious, sunshine-filled track which features vocals from Nancy Whang of LCD Soundsystem fame. It’s already on repeat in our car stereo.
“All You’re Waiting For” is taken from the duo’s upcoming debut album “Hanging Gardens”, which drops on May 14th on Innovative Leisure just in time for summer. The LP also features collaborations with Active Child, and Sarah Chernoff of Superhumanoids. Just in case you missed it, check out the video for their latest single “Holding On” here.

A few days ago, Classixx dropped a fantastic remix of fellow L.A.-based rocker Hanni El Khatib’s new single, “Penny”, amd transformed it into something completely different. This remix full of warm vibes and feel-good grooves is bound to brighten anyone’s day.
“Penny” is taken from Hanni El Khatib’s upcoming second album, “Head In The Dirt”, due out on April 30th via Innovative Leisure. You can grab Classixx’s remix for free below.

It’s no secret that we’re big fans of Cosmic Kids, the Los Angeles-based disco/house duo of Ron Poznansky and Dan Terndrup, here at La.Ga.Sta. We have been following them since the release of their amazing 2011 debut single “Reginald’s Groove” on Throne Of Blood and featuring all of their quality stuff. Needless to say, these guys rarely, if ever, disappoint us.
The same goes for their new four-track EP, “Reality On The Horizon” on one of our favorite labels, Let’s Play House. The EP’s lead track, “Manteiga”, a collaboration between Cosmic Kids with Classixx’s Tyler Blake under his moniker Fingerpaint, is almost seven minutes of silky-smooth disco-jam goodness. No surprise that the name of the track means butter in Portugese. The release also includes two original tracks, “Higgs Boson” and “Whisper Softly” by Cosmic Kids, as well as a new track,”Change Yr Mind”, by Fingerpaint. All great, and definitely worth checking out.
Cosmic Kids & Fingerpaint’s “Reality On The Horizon” EP arrives on vinyl on March 25th via Let’s Play House. It will be followed by a digital release on April 7th. Pick up your 12” here and stream Cosmic Kids’ “Whisper Softly” below. Fill it up!

We’ve already heard the infectious first single “The Hardest Part”, and now the Los Angeles-based duo Kisses have shared a second track, called “Huddle”, with ’80s-inspired synth melodies, guitars, and smooth vocals. Give it a spin above, and blow kisses.
