In a bit of a surprise move, Nicolas Jaar has shared an alternate soundtrack for the 1969 avant-garde Armenian film “The Color Of Pomegranates”, a poetic, visually rich biography of the Armenian troubadour Sayat Nova (King Of Song), directed by Sergei Parajanov. Nicolas Jaar’s score for the film includes 20 new compositions. You can watch the entire 77-minute film, complete with Jaar’s score, above.
