Suzanne Kraft: “Screenwriter”

Suzanne Kraft: “Screenwriter”

Diego Herrera returns with his new album “About You” of hazy-haloed pop songs.

Diego Herrera, aka Suzanne Kraft, is back with his first solo album in five years.

LA-via-Amsterdam producer Diego Herrera, aka Suzanne Kraft, a man of many talents who shares a studio and collaborates closely with Melody as Truth’s Jonny Nash, return with his new album “About You”, which marks his first solo album in five years since 2015’s “Talk From Home” LP”. Filled with shimmering guitar tones, fluid vocals, gentle persuasion and blissed-out vibes, the new record is less a departure from form and a more of a stylistic return home.

According to the label, the 10-track album “About You” is a set of hazy-haloed pop songs crackling with the flutters of fresh love amidst a mind full of memory flashes. Written in the whirlwind of a hopeful affair, instantly transformed into long distance romance, it’s a head rush of affection with the universe bending blurrily around it — an archive of yearning from a year that rifted warm bodies adrift; an outline of the in-betweens, the familiar and foreign, hopeful promise and heartbreak.

We’ve already heard Our Hands, a beauty of a tune, and now we’re treated to a stream of yet another new track from the record, “Screenwriter”, a guitar-driven, sun-soaked tune that gives us a good reason to get excited about Suzanne Kraft’s upcoming album. Enjoy the ride!

The album “About You” arrives on June 11th via Melody As Truth.
