Originally written as an ode to the late Andrew Weatherall, a long time supporter of Bawrut’s, “AndreW” is the closing track from the Madrid-based, Italian born producer’s latest EP “Divergent Emotions” on Other Goodness. Now, we’ve got our hands on a sublime rework of the track by Berlin-based electronic composer Matthew Puffett, aka Future Beat Alliance. In his hands, the original track is transformed into a low-slung blissed out cosmic G-Funk chugger. With this rework, Future Beat Alliance pays tribute to the spirit and tempo of Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston’s long-running A Love From Outer Space club night. A double tribute.
