Páula, Povoa & Jerge: “Primavera”

The trio’s brilliant debut single and video will brighten up anyone’s day.

Directed by Raquel San Nicolas.

How about some glistening mix of ’80s tinged electronica, sweetly vulnerable vocals and chiming live piano to brighten your dark December days? We love this brilliant new single “Primavera” from Brazilian/French trio Páula, Povoa & Jerge, which comes with a colorful and fun video that fits perfectly with the track.

Páula, Povoa & Jerge is a new collaboration between three eclectic talents: producer Jules Rosset, aka Povoa, vocalist Páula, who fronts the Brazilian/French electro-pop band Tampon Tango, and Myd collaborator and Christine & The Queens live member Jerge. The single “Primavera” is the title track from the trio’s debut EP, a four-tracker that takes influence from the compositional outsiderness of Lena Platonos, the unearthed sounds of Awesome Tapes From Africa, and continental Europe’s rich house heritage.

The “Primavera” EP is out now via Moshi Moshi. Get it here.
