Oktoberklubben: “Zorro” Video

OK!’s new single comes accompanied by a
brilliant video directed by Gabriel Gezaw.

The Swedish west coast groove unit, Oktoberklubben, aka OK!, has always been (and still is) about snake-like guitar leads and rhythmic synths. Dancey, hooky and laid back, all at the same time. A place where Brian Eno, African Head Charge and Fleetwood Mac are allowed to share a mutual musical vision with the Swedish west coast archipelago functioning as an inspirational canvas.

Having already wowed us with their sublime debut 12” on West Coast Recordings back in 2017, the Gothenburg-based duo of André Laos and Edvin Edvinsson are back with a superb four-track EP, entitled “Adios Zorro”. It marks the pair’s first original material since 2018’s debut LP “The Orust Tapes”, a finely crafted record of blissed-out grooves and sun-soaked hazy vibes. The EPs lead single “Zorro”, a subtle homage to departed band member Räven, sees OK! delivering stunning disco-infused balearic summer vibes. It feels like a sunset drive along the coast. The single comes accompanied by a brilliant video directed by Gabriel Gezaw.

The “Adios Zorro” EP is out now via [PIAS] Nordic. Get it here.<
