We’re so excited for Jensen Sportag’s upcoming debut album “Stealth Of Days”, which drops on November 12th via the ever-excellent Cascine. Now, the Nashville duo of Austin Wilkinson and Elvis Craig, has offered up another taste from that record. Here’s “Under The Rose”, a smooth, R&B-influenced tune filled with sultry, late-night vibes.
In their own words: “Stealth Of Days takes place in the garden. ‘Under The Rose’ is about an ordinary pain, the pain of loss. Through the autumn and winter we carry that most ancient symbol, the hidden rose, as we lament our lost love: the leaf that fell in spring.”
