With a handful of solid releases on Get Physical, Discaire, and Meant already under their belt, Italian duo Alien Alien, aka Rodion and Hugo Sanchez, have manage to keep the dancefloor hot and sweaty. For their latest release on their own record label, Roccodisco, Alien Alien have joined forces with Swedish-Italian singer Anna Clementi to deliver a dark, hypnotic cover of “No G.D.M.”, the cult song by German electro pioneer Gina X. This cover is a “voodoo journey into slow ritual dance”, as they say, and we couldn’t agree more.
Today, we’re psyched to share with you not one, but two choice remixes of “No G.D.M.” by Jackie House, one of the DJs behind San Francisco’s Honey Soundsystem, and Mexican duo Moon Runner, aka La Royale and Juan Soto.
