Andras, aka Melbourne’s Andrew Wilson, recruits four of his sonic confidants to put their spins on first full-length solo album “Joyful”, which was released in the dawn of 2020 via Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space Records. A bookend for an historical year, the “Joyful Remixes” EP connects Andras’ work with friends from both near and far. The record features remixes by the likes of Oakland’s Madalyn Merkey, Cut Copy, Hobart-based Enderie and two reworks by New Zealand’s very own Eden Burns. Here, we have for you Cut Copy’s galactic take of “Live Forever”, which sees them inject the original track with a healthy dose of extra synthwork without sacrificing an inch of its terrestrial groove.
