We first introduced you to Brisbanite Charles Murdoch when we featured his blissed-out track “Ahama” last year on our latest compilation. After a series of unreleased originals, not to mention his brilliant remix of Flume’s “Sleepless”, the up-and-coming producer, who also happens to be a member of the indie-pop outfit Mitzi, is gearing up to drop his debut EP in July on Future Classic.
Today, Charles Murdoch has shared the first taste from his upcoming EP, the smooth tune “No Lungs” full of lush vibes. Gran it for free below, and head over to his Soundcloud to hear a few more tunes. This kid will go places.

Our favorite Brisbane four-piece Mitzi have just announced full details of their forthcoming debut album, “Truly Alive”, (that’s the cover art, above), which is out on Februray 19 on the ever-excellent Future Classic. And we couldn’t be more excited!
The album was mixed in London by Ash Workman (Metronomy, Summer Camp, Klaxon) and it also features the brilliant tune “All I Heard”, which is actually the first track we heard from them way back in 2010. Download the original version of “All I Heard” below, and make sure to check out a video for the album’s title track, shot inside Mitzi’s recording space by Dylan Wiehahn.
