Enter into the “House Of Melancholy”. After a long wait, our favorite Acid Washed, comprised of Andrew Claristidge and Richard D’Alpert, have finally dropped their brand new track “Fire N’ Rain”. It’s the first single from their upcoming second album “House Of Melancholy”, which was produced by none other than Joakim. “Fire N’ Rain”, featuring soulful vocals from Blaq Shampu, is another fine example of what the Parisian duo can do so well. This dance gem is totally infectious and definitely will get some serious rotations this spring.
Acid Washed’s “Fire N’ Rain” EP is out now on Record Makers, and comes backed with remixes by Kaytranada, Stuff, Scratch Massive, Theatre Of Delays, The KDMS, and RadioMentale & Laure Milena. Below, you can stream Berlin’s producer Theatre Of Delays remix of the track that has such a nice vibe. Ride with us!
Acid Washed’s new album “House Of Melancholy” arrives on May 13th.

Tigersushi’s label boss Joakim and Adam Bainbridge, aka Kindness, have unveiled their collaborative project, under the Everyone moniker. For their debut 12” “No Time To Waste” they join forces with Jam City as Vincent L’Traques to create a mellow deep house tune. Here we have the vocal version of “No Time To Waste” for your listening pleasure.
This is also the first release on Joakim’s new vinyl-only imprint Crowdspacer, named after the CRWDSPCR dance performances of avant-gardist Merce Cunningham in 1993. As Joakim says the label will be about “dance, sweaty clubs, techno primitivism, trans-gender house, tropicalist trance, mutant disco, fun avant-garde, timeless futurism, the body & soul.”
