Montevideo are back! After releasing their great debut EP “Tribal Dance” on Headman’s Relish imprint last year, the Brussels-based band, fronted by the always awesome singer Jean Waterlot, will release their brand new jam “Horses” on February 13th on the newly label Smile Recordings. It sounds so damn good. “Horses” was recorded in the anticipated DFA studios in New York and is the first taste from their upcoming album, which is expected to be released later this year. Montevideo is currently recording their album in Paris with no other than Joakim. Check out the radio edit of “Horses” above and preview Mickey’s rework of the track here. Ride and enjoy.

La.Ga.Sta. offered its services to many weary travellers once more this year. By “following rivers” they drove “through the green” and found themselves in “English Riviera” only to come back again to our station for another refill.
Taking a Friday drive down this year’s memory lane, we think back on our numerous stops including among others:
Our after-hours, absolutely wicked dj set in the VIP room of Melt! Festival. We might have missed Cut Copy’s performance but we certainly had a blast. Shout out to T.E.E.D., Azari & III, Metronomy, Siriusmo, and Planningtorock for their stunning gigs.

It’s always such a great pleasure sharing sounds, words and feelings with all the people we love. We don’t really like making lists since we always forget to include everything we loved through the year. Principles Of Geometry will return next year with a new album, entitled “Burn The Land & Boil The Oceans”, on Tigersushi Records. Before it’s released, Joakim, Pilooski, and Krikor have reworked three tracks from the forthcoming record. Joakim’s “tape edit” of Principles Of Geometry’s “L.A.” is such a great tune. Here’s the official video for Joakim’s new single “Find A Way”, off his latest album “Nothing Gold”, out now on Tigersushi Records. “Find A Way” is, was and will always be the first song that Joakim started on his “Nothing Gold” album sessions. The latest release from Joakim’s Tigersushi record label sees rising UK producer Stopmakingme collaborating again with UK club legend Justin Robertson under his alias The Deadstock 33s. The “Gravity” EP is coming out on August 8 and contains four lush tracks: “Gravity”, “Park Drive”, “Oscillate”, “Rising Madness”. The duo have already worked together, releasing “Battery Life” for the Southern Fried imprint. You can preview the title track below and stream the whole thing here. Great release.
