Here we go. We’ve been waiting for this great tune to come out since we first heard it in The Magician’s Magic Tape 33 back in May. That’s right, we’re talking about “There’s A Place”, the powerful debut single from Belgian dance duo Arches, a new collaborative project between Seba Vandevoorde, aka Moonlight Matters, and Jochen Sablon (of Sound Of Stereo). This track will definitely do some serious dancefloor damage. You can now preview it above.

“There’s A Place”, which is basically a rework of Diana Ross’ 1995 hit single “Take Me Higher”, drops on April 7th via Columbia. The single will come backed by B-side “Move On”, featuring vocals from Gustaph (of Hercules and Love Affair), along with remixes from Sinden and Russ Chimes.

As a bonus, you can still grab a free download of Arches’ pumping rework of Whitney Houston’s “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay” here. Fill it up!

Here we go. Aussie DJ/production duo Stereogamous return in a big way with their debut single “Face Love Anew”, which features the gorgeous vocals of Shaun J. Wright, whom you may remember from his collaboration with Hercules and Love Affair, as well as from his solo single “Forevermore” on Andy Butler’s MR.INTL Records. “Face Love Anew” is a proper vocal house anthem that goes deep, deep inside of you and hits all the right spots. It really doesn’t get any better than this.
The limited-edition 12” vinyl is out now on Honey Soundsystem’s HNYTRX label in collaboration with Cocktail d’Amore and features two fine remixes of the track by Jason Kendig, and Discodromo. The single will see a digital release on December 11th with a great line-up of remixes by Horse Meat Disco, Kim Ann Foxman, The Miracles Club, and The Carry Nation.
Today we are delighted to offer you this exclusive stream of “Face Love Anew”. Listen to the full original version below. It’s already on repeat.

A few weeks ago, we posted Andy Butler and Mark Pistel’s take on Hercules and Love Affair brand new track “Release Me”, one of the exclusive tracks on their upcoming “DJ-Kicks” mix. Here we have the original version of “Release Me”, featuring the vocals from LA DJ Whitney Fierce, for your listening pleasure. “This song lies somewhere between Stock Aitken and Waterman and Manchester’s Hacienda sound, while Whitney sounds very Bananarama on it. Mark Pistel busted out his E- Max on this recording with some original samples he compiled in 91, so that made us all dance in the studio”, says Andy Butler. Give it a spin above. We like it!

Hercules And Love Affair’s “DJ-Kicks” drops on October 29th via !K7.

Last week, Hercules and Love Affair played the dancefloor anthem “Blind” together with Antony Hegarty for the first time ever at this year’s Meltdown Festival in London. They also shared the stage that night with the American singer/songwriter John Grant to perform their new single “I Try To Talk To You”, the first taste from their upcoming third album, which is set for release next year. The “Hercules’ Tell All” remix of “I Try To Talk To You”, featuring John Grant, has just been released on V2/Coop, and the result is exactly what we expected. Seven minutes of pure deep house vibes. Little Boots caught me by surprise with her new single “Every Night I Say A Prayer”, which was produced by Andy Butler of Hercules & Love Affair. It’s such a great track full of house vibes. For us it’s surely her best work since the release of the single “Stuck On Repeat” in 2008. We hope she keeps walking down that road with her little boots. You can grab the track “Every Night I Say A Prayer” for free below. Out today on Trax Records.
