Coming off the acclaim of “Pablo”, British producer Michael Greene, aka Fort Romeau, returns with a three tracker, entitled “SPC-140” for Ghostly International’s Spectral Sound that finds him in such fine form. Before it drops next month, Fort Romeau has shared “Untitled III”, the first taste of the record, that pulses out from the onset, riding a serpentine melodic line into a haze of impressionistic house before its final demystified minute.

The “SPC-140” arrives on October 19th. Pre-order it here.

Brooklyn-based electronic duo Beacon, consisting of Thomas Mullarney III and Jacob Gossett, return to Ghostly International with their sophomore album “Escapements”, following from 2013’s debut album “The Ways We Separate” and last year’s “L1” EP. Set to drop on February 5th, the new 11-track record was recorded over the course of nine months at Beacon’s Brooklyn home studio and Gary’s Electric.

Where “The Ways We Separate” was about space, “Escapements” is about time. The title is taken from clock mechanics; escapements are timekeeping regulators designed to transfer energy at a constant pace. “I was attracted to this concept because of the entropy it implies,” Mullarney explains. “Friction and changes in amplitude over time mean every escapement, no matter how well crafted, will lose its accuracy and effectively slow down time via its own decay.”

Our first taste of Beacon’s upcoming effort comes in the form of “Preserve”, a finely crafted tune driven by Mullarney’s soft, aching vocals. Give it a spin or two above, and pre-order your copy of “Escapements” here.

Brooklyn-based electronic duo Beacon, aka Thomas Mullarney III and Jacob Gossett, have returned this week with “Fault Lines”, the first taste from their forthcoming new five-track “L1” EP on Ghostly, which marks the pair’s first material since last year’s debut album “The Ways We Separate”. “Our records have often been described as moments after the night has given way, a ‘comedown after the club.’ Hopefully, this record inspires people to go back out for one more,” says Jacob Gossett.

The “L1” EP, which is said to “focus on themes provided by a natural phenomenon in gravitational physics known as Lagrangian points”, will drop on December 2 via Ghostly International. You can pre-order the “L1” EP here.

“Being Hiding” is the second single from Mark E’s forthcoming new album “Product Of Industry”, which was mostly produced with analogue gear. Described by Mark E himself as “grinding, continuous, heavy, relentless,” the album follows over two years after his “Stone Breaker” LP.

“Product Of Industry” will drop via Ghostly’s Spectral Sound imprint on April 28th.
