The Presets’ frontman Julian Hamilton takes us for a blissful ride with his beautiful version of fellow Australian duo Flight Facilities’ “Heart Attack” that sounds more like a cover, than a typical rework. The Owl Eyes-featuring single “Heart Attack”, one of the many highlights from last year’s superb debut album “Down To Earth”, will drop on July 17th on Future Classic. The release also includes two remixes by Snakehips and Throwing Snow.

Our favorite Sydney duo Flight Facilities just dropped a new remix EP for their latest single “Down To Earth”, one of the standout tracks from their much loved debut album of the same name, released last year via Future Classic/Glassnote Records. The release also includes a superb seven-plus-minute remix of “Down To Earth” from New York producer/DJ and Win Music founder Sean Glass, which is also available for free download. Having impressed with last year’s debut single “Feel Your Love”, Australian producer Falqo (real name Alexander White), a long-time friend and studio mate of Flight Facilities, is back with his superb new single “Sleepy Crusader”. Featuring vocals from Kamaliza Salamba of Sydney duo Olympic Ayres, this incredibly catchy and funky tune is a summer hit in waiting worthy of repeated listens. You may already be familiar with “Sleepy Crusader” if you heard Flight Facilities’ amazing set in Mixmag’s Lab back in October. The track will be available as a free download on April 23.

We’ve already heard the stellar first single “Two Bodies”, featuring vocals from Emma Louise, and seen its sensual video, and now Australian duo Flight Facilities have shared this absolutely beautiful remix of the track by Stockholm-based house producer Johan Cederberg, aka HNNY, who can do no wrong at the moment. On his remix of “Two Bodies”, HNNY adds an extra dose of warm, deep vibes, while keeping the original’s dreamy vocals intact. Quality as always. Give it a spin above, and make sure to keep your eyes peeled for more “Two Bodies” remixes by the likes of Lido and Robag Wruhme.

Just last month, we were surprised and certainly excited to hear that our beloved Sydney-based duo Flight Facilities will finally release their long-awaited debut album “Down To Earth” on October 24th via Future Classic/Glassnote Records. Today, the ever-elusive duo of Hugo Gruzman and James Lyell has shared the album’s first single, “Two Bodies”, a gorgeous track featuring vocals from Australian singer/songwriter Emma Louise. You can now stream the extended version of “Two Bodies” above.

The 14-track album “Down To Earth” will also feature appearances from New York’s comedian/musician Reggie Watts, Melbourne’s Owl Eyes, Amsterdam-based vocalist/producer Stee Downes, and rising New York rapper You Bishop Nehru, as well as the pair’s popular hits “Crave You”, “Clair De Lune”, and “Stand Still”.
