Tel-Aviv based electronic duo Red Axes, comprised of Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi, have been making music for a while now. These guys have made a name for themselves as members of another band, called Red Cotton, and they are also known for their psychedelic electronic “Break It!” party series.
After dropping the “Tour De Chile” EP back in February, Red Axes return with their second release on Cosmo Vitelli’s own label I’m a Cliché. The new “1970″ EP contains three original tracks, “1970″, “Walk Alone”, and “Joseph Cookies”, and is already supported by Michael Mayer, Chloé, Remain, Munk, Mylo, Tomas Barfod, among others.
Today we’re pleased to premiere the trippy video for “1970″, a great track with some serious Balearic vibes. Watch the video, made by Mamzer, above and make sure to stream the EP in full below, ahead of its official release on October 15th. Play it loud.

This is such a great tune from The Draughtsman, the new project of London-based DJ and producer Alex Egan, the man behind Astronomer and numerous other aliases. We first heard it on Erol Alkan’s 6mix for BBC back in April, and finally his impressive debut track “Geschmacklos” as The Draughtsman is out now on Tim Paris’ Marketing Music label. The release also features a killer remix by Cosmo Vitelli. It really doesn’t get any better than this. Ride on.
The “Geschmacklos” EP is out now, exclusively on Beatport. Get it here.
