Having already impressed us with their superb self-titled debut EP of breezy, dream-pop perfection, released earlier this year via Cascine, rising New Zealand trio Yumi Zouma return to our ears with their stellar new single “Alena”, their most uptempo effort to date. With its delicate piano melodies and Kim Pflaum’s lush vocals, “Alena” is a perfect slice of dreamy disco-pop that rewards repeat listens. The track will also appear on Yumi Zouma’s upcoming new EP, which is expected to see a release early next year.
