Hailing from Cologne, VIMES is the production duo of Azhar Syed and Julian Stetter, who make delicate, driving electronic tracks laced with upbeat pop sensibilities and a melancholic feel. VIMES first caught our ear last year with their splendid third single “Celestial”, released on Berlin’s Humming Records, and now they’re revisiting that track with a new version, simply called “Celestial (Reprise)”. Stretching to almost eight minutes, the “Reprise” rework of “Celestial” is perfect for a late-night ride. Blast it above.
