Tropics: “Blame”

The last time we heard new music from London producer and multi-instrumentalist Chris Ward, better known as Tropics, was last year, when he released his superb four-track “Home & Consonance” EP on Five Easy Pieces. Now, he’s back with his beautiful new single “Blame”, the first taste from his forthcoming debut album “Rapture”, which will drop on February 16th on Innovative Leisure. According to the label, the 11-track record fuses his love of avant-garde percussion, the pop-leaning hooks of classic ’70s and ’80s singer-songwriters, and ambient music. Pre-order it here.
