It’s been a very good and busy year for Tareq, our friend in Athens. He played as a DJ for numerous parties around Greece, supporting DJs like Shit Robot, Stopmakingme and Villa, and opened Jessica 6’s first live gig in Athens last September. There’s more. He also made two disco house remixes of Casey Spooner’s track “Faye Dunaway” and Creep’s latest single “You”. Back in August, Mighty Mouse’s balearic disco take on Tareq’s “Feel Me”, from last year’s debut album “Cocoon”, was Mixmag’s disco tune of the month. Now, Tareq is ready to drop his new single “Mosquito”, co-written with his friend and partner V-Sag, in November on Undo Records with remixes by Rolla Scape, the side-project of our favorite K.BHTA, Marsheaux, 5tarcrush and SaikaL. Rolla Scape made a beautiful acoustic rework of Tareq’s “Mosquito” and we’re happy to share it with you. You can now grab it for below, exclusively on La.Ga.Sta.
