Sunday Drive #231

A Sunday track by Rosinha da Valencia, a highly acclaimed composer, arranger and guitarist who played with legends including Baden Powell, Sérgio Mendes and Sivuca. Sadly she passed away in 2004. The glorious track “Summertime” is lifted from her 1975 RCA LP, entitled ‘Um Violão Em Primeiro Plano’. This is the first time the track has been released on 7″ via Mr Bongo.
