No Regular Play: “Nothing Less”

No Regular Play: “Nothing Less”

HAKT Recordings, a new record label run by New York-based DJ and former DFA label manager Justin Miller, continues to roll out a steady stream of quality music that walks the line between electronic, deep house, and disco.

After dropping three well- received EPs from Walter Jones, John Camp, and Cale Parks over the last few months, the label’s new release comes from Brooklyn duo No Regular Play, aka Nicholas DeBruyn and Greg Paulus, two childhood friends from Minnesota who became core members of the Wolf + Lamb family in 2006.

Entitled “Nothing Less”, the EP brings together four original tracks, their first new material since last year’s debut LP “Endangered Species” on Wolf + Lamb. Before the “Nothing Less” EP drops on August 26th, you can now stream the title track, a sultry, late-night jam with Paulus’ inimitable trumpet and cosmic synths. Nothing less than brilliant.
