Miguel Campbell: “The Music”

Miguel Campbell: “The Music”

After the success of his debut album “Back In Flight School”, released all the way back in 2012 on Hot Creations, Miguel Campbell has spent the last three years living in Ibiza, dividing his time between touring and the studio. Since returning to his hometown of Leeds last year, his production output has been prolific, with a slew of original tracks and remixes coming through his own Outcross Records imprint.

He’s now gearing up for the release of his second album, “Night Drive Without You”, which will drop on December 11th. The 15-track record is “built to take listeners on an abstract, heartfelt journey through a mix of house, funk, jazz and disco.” Six tracks on the album features the vocal talents of Benjamin Diamond, who you may remember from Stardust’s 1988 massive hit “Music Sounds Better With You”, and frequent collaborator Beccs Lott. Our first taste from the record is “The Music”, a disco-leaning track which comes with a funk-laced remix from Miguel Campbell’s MAM project alongside Matt Hughes. Let’s ride.
