Phillip Lauer, one half of acclaimed duo Arto Mwambe, is ready to drop his debut album “Phillips” next week on one of our favourite labels Running Back. The twelve songs on this album have been described as “808 State kissing Movin Records while Cluster are in the room – or a Dolby NR tempest”, and the result is quite impressive. It’s a brilliant album from start to finish, which blends so many dance elements. Ahead of its release, you can stream “Phillips” in its entirety below, and in case you missed it, check out Tensnake’s funk-fuelled “Franceman” remix of Lauer’s “Trainman” here.
