We’ve already featured La Roux’s Elly Jackson groovy, funk-infused jam “Uptight Downtown”, and now we’ve got our hands on this luscious remix of the track by Brooklyn’s Midnight Magic, one of our favorite disco outfits. The remix, clocking in at nearly eight minutes, transforms the original into something far better suited for a late-night ride across the city. Better yet, you can grab it for free below. “Uptight Downtown” will appear on La Roux’s forthcoming second album, “Trouble in Paradise”, which will drop on July 7th via Polydor.
