Hatchets: “Everytime (Sinkane Remix)”

More goodness from our good friends over at Gop Tun. After the release of Schoolbell’s solid “Spin Me” EP, the second offering on the Brazilian label/collective comes from São Paulo-based dance-rock band Hatchets and it’s a winner.

Our favorite pick from the band’s upcoming four-track “Plain & Simple (Everytime)” EP is a wicked remix of the title track from Sudanese-born, New York-based Ahmed Gallab, aka Sinkane, who already wowed us with last year’s debut LP “Mars” for DFA. We first heard this remix on Tim Sweeney’s “Beats In Space” radio show a few months ago, and now we’re happy to share it with you. Give it a spin above.
