Melbourne-based synth-pop band Clubfeet have not said their last words, and neither have RAC (Remix Artist Collective)! The former keep releasing singles and videos from last year’s debut album “Gold On Gold”, while the latter continue to surprise us with new remixes almost every week! Clubfeet’s beautiful new single “Last Words” will be released soon on Plant Music with remixes by Dimitri From Paris, The C90s and RAC. As a gift to their fans, here’s RAC’s cover of the Smashing Pumpkins’ “1979”. André Allen Anjos, the founder of RAC, says:”I figured it would be cool to do a cover. It had been a while since I did a track with my wife, so this seemed like a great opportunity for that. We tried to keep it relatively close to the original but definitely putting our own spin on it”. Sweet.
