Astronauts, etc.: “Shake It Loose”

Get your ears wrapped around the new track “Shake It Loose” from Oakland-based Astronauts, etc., the brainchild of Toro Y Moi’s touring keyboardist Anthony Ferraro. It’s an exceptionally smooth listen, and yet another example of what makes Astronauts, etc.’s songs so special. The track “Shake It Loose” will appear on the band’s forthcoming debut album “Mind Out Wandering”, which is slated for release later this month.

Recorded live to tape at San Francisco’s notable Tiny Telephone, the 10-record blends thawed-out ’70s tones with sentiments of soul and echoes of modern indie guitar rock. After getting your fill of “Shake It Loose” above, make sure to check out the trippy video for their previous single “I Know”, created by Vinyl Williams. The album “Mind Out Wandering” drops on September 18th via Hit City USA. Pre-order it here.
