Throughout 2011 we have been offering you lots of free music. Here is La.Ga.Sta.’s most downloaded tracks of the year. It’s no surprise that Magician’s remix of Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers” is top of the list. A huge remix that you can still hear coming out loud from the car stereos. There are some great tunes in there as well, from Rapture, M83 and Washed Out to Mylo, Discodeine, and Poolside. Wolfram Eckert, aka Wolfram, from Vienna has been on the forefront of the italo disco revival since 2005 with his label Diskokaine and productions under his monikers The Diskokaines or Marflow. As Wolfram he is now releasing his self-titled debut album on March 11th, via Permanent Vacation. The album featuring guest appearances of euro dance legend Haddaway, Holy Ghost!, Hercules and Love Affair, Patrick Pulsinger, Sally Shapiro, Legowelt, Sebastian and former Patrick Cowley protégé Paul Parker. Andy Butler sings with Kim Ann Foxman on the first single ‘Fireworks’. A true electro disco fireworks!
