Kindness: “Who Do You Love” (feat. Robyn) Video

November 11th, 2014

British singer Adam Bainbridge, aka Kindness, has shared a new video for his Robyn-featuring single “Who Do You Love”, taken from his recently released second album “Otherness” on Female Energy/Mom + Pop. In Adam Bainbridge’s own words: This video and this song is “about people and connection, and how you can identify who you are by those you love. Those people say a hell of a lot about you.” Just in case you missed, watch the great video for his previous single “This Is Not About Us” here.

Directed by Daniel Brereton.

Kindness: “This Is Not About Us” Video

October 7th, 2014

With the release of his sophomore record “Otherness” just a few days away, British singer Adam Bainbridge, aka Kindness, has revealed this cool video for the album’s first single “This Is Not About Us”, which was co-directed by Daniel Brereton and Adam Bainbridge himself. Speaking about his work with choreographer Karla Garcia, Kindness says: “Some of my favorite videos are simple choreographies — for the “This Is Not About Us” video I wanted to try working with a choreographer and push myself to work on dance in a way that was less free-form and messy. It’s an ego-less thing to give yourself over to making someone else dance as well as possible, especially when they’re not nearly on your level.”

The “This Is Not About Us” single will appear on Kindness’ new LP “Otherness”, which features guest appearances from Robyn, Blood Orange’s Devonté Hynes, among others. The album will drop on October 13th on Female Energy/Mom + Pop.

January 25th, 2013

Tigersushi’s label boss Joakim and Adam Bainbridge, aka Kindness, have unveiled their collaborative project, under the Everyone moniker. For their debut 12” “No Time To Waste” they join forces with Jam City as Vincent L’Traques to create a mellow deep house tune. Here we have the vocal version of “No Time To Waste” for your listening pleasure.
This is also the first release on Joakim’s new vinyl-only imprint Crowdspacer, named after the CRWDSPCR dance performances of avant-gardist Merce Cunningham in 1993.
