Following on from last year’s superb debut single, the Eddie Kendricks-sampling soulful house jam “Love Jones” on Aesop, rising London-via-Leeds duo Wayward, made up of Lawrence Gale Hayes and Louis Greenwood, will soon be releasing a brand-new single called “Speak On It”. In the meantime, here’s the single’s b-side cut, “Belize”, featuring vocals from Beth Aggett, for your listening pleasure. It’s a delightfully summery tune with bright piano chords that has a blissed-out Balearic vibe to it. Give a spin or two above.
