The Juan MacLean: “A Simple Design”

Back in June, we featured the eight-plus-minute space-disco jam “A Place Called Space”, the first taste from The Juan MacLean’s upcoming third full-length album “In A Dream”, which will arrive on September 16th via DFA. Today, we’re treated to a stream of the record’s new single “A Simple Design”, which once again features LCD Soundsystem’s Nancy Whang on vocals. The tune is yet another solid synth disco groover. “This is a song about being stuck, paralyzed and unable to move forward, the sort of self-imposed distress that causes you to take five years to make a new album,” says Juan.
