We’ve posted about George Lewis Jr., the man behind the moody synth-pop Twin Shadow, many times before. His debut album,’Forget’, produced by Chris Taylor (Grizzly Bear) is playing in our gas stereo all week. We really love it. Lewis describes the album as “bedroom-recorded music, but it’s been done with the same attention as many classic B-movies.” In other words it’s certainly worth checking out. Here’s the opening track ‘Tyrant Destroyed’ to get you in the mood:

Τρομερή φιγούρα! Πριν βρεθεί στη Νέα Υόρκη με το ψευδώνυμο Τwin Shadow, o μυστήριος George Lewis Jr. κυνηγούσε τα φαντάσματα του David Bowie και του Lou Reed στους δρόμους του Βερολίνου. Σήμερα, κυνηγάει την σκιά του, δημιουργεί απολαυστικά synth pop κομμάτια και πλέον ανήκει στο δυναμικό του label Terrible Records (έχει πάρει τα πάνω του) του Chris Taylor των Grizzly Bear. Μια χαρά!
