The wait is over. Adelaide’s The Swiss have kept fairly quiet since the release of their 2011 single “Double Or Nothing”/”Womanthem” on Modular. Fresh off the release of their great tune “Connect”, the disco duo of Luke Million and Tony Mitolo, have finally dropped their brand-new four-track EP, entitled “Elouisa”, on Kitsuné just in time to make our summer days even hotter.
Consisting of two original tracks “Elouisa” and “Peach Pit”, this new release is definitely worth the wait. Once again, The Swiss keep the disco vibe rolling and offer us two superb tracks with dancefloor satisfaction guaranteed. It’s playful, groovy, and funky in all the right ways. Definitely one of the best disco EPs we’ve heard in a while.
The Swiss’ “Elouisa” EP, backed with two remixes by Late Nite Tuff Guy and Villa (absolute fire), is out now on Kitsuné. Get it here.

Last week, we shared “Daylight”, a solid disco tune from White Water, aka French electro duo Bot’Ox and Adelaide’s producer Surahn Sidhu. The single is out now on Cosmo Vitelli’s ever-excellent I’m a Cliché, and comes backed with a great dancefloor-ready rework by none other than Jacques Renault. As usual, he never disappoints.
Give the remix a spin above, and get into the groove. Below, you can peep the official video for the track, editing by Crame.

A couple of weeks ago, we introduced you to Adelaide’s producer and musician Surahn Sidhu, former bassist of The Swiss and multi-instrumentalist for the Empire Of The Sun. Today, we share with you this absolutely beautiful live, balearic piano version of “Wonderful”, one of the standout tracks from his self-titled debut EP for DFA Records. The video was shot in a room in Bali, Indonesia and you can watch it above. The five-song EP also includes the gorgeous first single “Watching The World”.

Adelaide’s Surahn Sidhu, who also produces music under the moniker Sidwho?, is a man of many talents and personalities. Some of you may remember him as the bass player of our favorite disco outfit The Swiss over the past few years.
Having spent the last three years touring the world with Empire Of The Sun as a multi-instrumentalist, Surahn is now ready to drop his self-titled debut solo EP on DFA Records. The first track to surface from the EP, “Watching The World”, was recorded at DFA in NYC. It’s a gorgeous song, which sounds like an instant classic. You can now watch the retro video for the track above. Also, keep an eye out for a stunning disco rework of “Watching The World” by none other than Prins Thomas. Fill it up!
