It’s time for Clock Opera. ‘A Piece of String’ is the second single from London based band. The track draws on a sonic palette comprised of homemade samples, found sounds, cut-up guitars and domestic appliances. Brilliant. DJ Hell teams up with Bryan Ferry on “U Can Dance”, one of the stand-out tracks from Hell’s hugely ambitious double-album “Teufelswerk”. The track will be released in January 2010, and has been remixed by Carl Craig, Simian Mobile Disco and DFA’s Tim Goldsworthy.
The video is directed by Jo Apps and captures the song’s decadence perfectly. Watch the teaser:
