‘That’s cool but can you make it more sh*t’

LCD Soundsystem and DFA retrospective exhibition launch at Tom Dunne Gallery in Darlinghurst. Titled ‘That’s Cool But Can You Make It More Sh*t?’, the show is a large collection of record sleeves, flyers, posters, doodles and polaroids. The exhibition will travel on to New York and London. The Soft Return of Grovesnor

Grovesnor is Rob Smoughton, drummer for Hot Chip and student of the old school who loves a good tune and a crisp rhythm. The self-style ‘troubadour who looks like a teacher but sings like Usher’ will release his debut album ‘Soft Return’ on April 26th via Lo Recordings. The record was produced with the assistance of the ‘Chip’s Felix Martin and Al Doyleon.

Junkie XL is back for good. After the massive remix for Crookers ‘Cooler Couleur’, now he’s got a new EP ‘Fairlight’. The EP contains 2 tracks. One track is called ‘Made For Each Other’ and is a collaboration with the legendary Jan Hammer. The B-side features a track called ‘Heart Of Darkness’ (we heard it first in the Aeroplane December Chart Mix) which is Junkie XL on his own. This is his first great production in a very long time. Gas up!
