Last month we posted the TBD’s remix of Shit Robot’s ‘I Found Love’. Now, the Irish born DJ and veteran of the New York club scene, Marcus Lambkin, has offered up the original version of that cut as a free download. ‘I Found Love’, which recalls the vocal style of Barry White, it’s taken from his debut album, ‘From The Crable To The Rave’, due out September 21st via DFA Records. The LP contains some killer tunes: ‘Losing My Patience’, featuring vocals from Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor, ‘Take ‘Em Up’ with LCD Soundsystem’s Nancy Whang on vocals and the 9-minute mind-blowing ‘Grim Receiver’. Shit Robot found love in the discotheque. We found one of the best records of the year so far!
