T.E.E. (for Turzi Electronique Expérience) is the solo side-project of Romain Turzi, frontman of the French band Turzi. His forthcoming album,”Education”, produced by Pilooski (one half of Discodeine), will be released on September 5th via Records Makers. The video for Findlay Brown’s cover of Joe Smooth’s 1989 classic ‘Promised Land’ was inspired by the cover art and it features pink skies and white boots in a surreal desert. Directed by Matthieu Tonetti.

After the remix contest for ‘Nightcall’, Kavinsky has just launched a fan art contest, allowing graphic designers and illustrators to contribute their interpretations of Kavinsky’s zombie universe. 50 illustrations will be chosen from the entrants and included in a limited edition book. The winning design will take pride of place on the front cover.
The contest will run until December 31st. Submit your entry HERE.
In other news, Kavinsky is currently putting the final touches on his full-length album, due out in March 2011 via Record Makers. Produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem Christo of Daft Punk.

Kavinsky is striking back with his new 4-track EP ‘Nightcall’ on March 15th on Record Makers. ‘Nightcall’ is the first song Kavinsky provides vocals for, featuring his girlfriend, a.k.a. Lovefoxxx from CSS! The song was produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (Daft Punk) and mixed by SebastiAN. On the other side, Kavinsky has produced ‘Pacific Coast Highway’, in which we follow a ghostcar on the highway. A full-length album is in the works that will be accompanied by a short film featuring Kavinsky’s Ferrari driving zombie alter ego. Can’t wait!!!
