Our favorite D.C./Berlin duo Benoit & Sergio strikes again with this lush remix of Matthew Dear’s new single “Fighting Is Futile”, one of the standout moments from his 2012 album “Beams”. It’s absolutely amazing! The EP also comes with remixes by the likes of Seth Troxler, KiNK, and Laid Back. Out on January 28th via Ghostly. You can pre-order your copy here. In related news, Benoit & Sergio will drop their new “Bridge So Far” EP on February 4th on Hot Creations.
Just in case you missed it, Ghostly International recently gave away a “Best of 2012″ compilation, which features tracks by Com Truise, Matthew Dear, Michna, Beacon, among others. You can download all 13 tracks for free here.

“I don’t need a calculator, to know I’m gonna to see you later…” Here’s the video for Tiga’s new single “Plush”, which was co-produced by Matthew Dear. It’s taken from his latest mix “Tiga Non Stop”, his first mix CD since 2005. As he says: “‘Plush’ was inspired by 80s dance TV shows like Pelvic Gold and The Bandana Patrol, as well as my undying love and respect for the city of Detroit.” The single arrives on December 17th via Different Recordings / PIAS with remixes by Jacques Lu Cont and Âme, the DJ/production duo of Kristian Beyer and Frank Wiedemann.
