Lauer: “Highdimes”
Another excellent release from Phillip Lauer on Gerd Janson’s Running Back label. Following his solid debut LP “Phillips”, which was released back in April, Lauer just dropped a brand new EP, which features two fine reworks of his track “Tentatious” by New York’s Jacques Renault and Marcos Cabral, aka Runaway, and I:Cube. The release also includes the hidden album track “Boringtone”, his very own secret ode to the Café del Mar, and an exclusive track called “Highdimes”. You can now stream the track above. Brilliant!

Such a dope, soulful house remix by Jeremy Glenn. Now our beloved Toronto producer not only works his magic on Runaway man Marcos Cabral’s “Sweet & Sour”, but also wrote the lyrics and sings on this track. Amazing! Out soon on Marcos Cabral’s imprint Hamilton Dance Records.
A few days ago Jeremy Glenn did a great La.Ga.Sta. Mix. Play it again.

This Saturday’s edit is a lifetime favorite. When it was first released two years ago on Marcos Cabral and Jacques Renault’s label On The Prowl it became an instant classic. This epic twelve minute edit of New Edition’s 1986 song “Once In A Lifetime Groove” by Marcos Cabral and Shux still sounds like the perfect soundtrack for the upcoming warm days of summer. That gives us more than one reason to remember it…

Disco pop vibes, summery slow mo jams, balearic sounds. Welcome to the world of Cadillac. We’ve written about rising Australian trio a couples of times (check out here and here) and now their debut self-titled EP on Future Classic is finally here. It’s the kind of music you’d like to listen to when feeling the warmth of the sun, but at the same time it would make you feel at home in a cloudy and raining afternoon. Take a listen to Cadillac’s standout track “Make You Feel”, which features guest vocals from Tesla Boy frontman Anton Sevidov, and be sure you check out the whole release here. You definitely don’t wanna miss this.
The EP is now available on vinyl as a double 12” with remixes by The Miracles Club, Prince Rama, Marcos Cabral, Ray Mang, Daniel Bortz and Sun Glitters.
More Cadillac? Yes, please. We already featured the band’s new single “Dreams” and Marcos Cabral’s tasty remix of their track “Make You Feel”, and now Australian’s Cadillac is teasing us with another free download. “High For Me” is the glorious piano outro from their debut self-titled EP (that’s the amazing cover above).
